fedBizWars is a web piece that engages the user with information from FedBizOpps.gov, "the single government point-of-entry (GPE) for Federal government procurement opportunities. Government buyers are able to publicize their business opportunities by posting information directly to FedBizOpps via the Internet."
fedBizWars presents the information within the realm of government spending as playful information drama.
I coded the website and collected a database of interesting contracts and assigned one key word to each entry. When the spin button in pressed, GIFs are pulled from the Giphy API using this key word. This project was presented as a critical design and art web piece at The Contours of Algorithmic Life.
